The principle of revolutionary e-light technology
Light energy is absorbed by chromophores (melanin, hemoglobin) contained
in hair, vessels or skin depending on the wavelength range. In the
absorption process, the energy of light is converted into thermal
energy. which heats a hair, vessel or collagen. The electrical
properties of the skin depend on its temperature (the warmer the tissue,
the lower its electrical resistance). RF current flowing through the
skin, selects the path through tissues heated with light. The RF current
flow is not dependent on the amount of melanin in the skin, which is why
this technology can be safely applied to all skin types. Due to the fact
that light is only a part of the energy used, its density during the
treatment is lower than when using only light. This ensures safety,
greater efficiency and no possibility of burns.
Comparison of IPL with IPL + RF (E-Light ):
1\. energy from IPL together with RF penetrates directly into the deeper
layers of tissue; this means that it is not absorbed by the dye or dark
skin as in the case of IPL - thus ensuring greater safety, better
efficiency and no possibility of burns,
2\. IPL can penetrate 2.5 mm, while IPL from RF penetrates 4.0 mm deep
into the skin,
3\. when using IPL, tissue can only absorb 30% -40% of energy, the rest
of energy is reflected and collapses, while in IPL with RF the
phenomenon of reflection and refraction of energy does not occur.
Depending on the size of the treated area, the treatment lasts from a
few to several minutes. The laser pulses are felt as a heat pulse or
light burning, but the procedure is not painful. The E-LIGHT device has
a triple head cooling system, which reduces discomfort to a minimum.
